- KOVET AlSi 12 can be used for joint and repair welding on aluminum wrought and cast alloys when higher strength is required.
- In order to avoid shrinkage cracks, the complete cast aluminum piece should usually be pre heated accordingly.
- The electrode has good welding properties and is suitable for welding in all positions.
- The core-wire consists of an aluminum alloy with approximately 12% silicon.
